Our Curriculum

Nemours: At Hope Academy International, we proudly use the Nemours curriculum in our PreK and VPK programs. Thanks to this proven, research-based approach, 97% of our VPK graduates leave with early literacy skills at a 1st-grade comprehension level—setting them up for success from day one.

Nemours Children’s Health recognizes that child health and reading skills are closely linked, and that reading failure is a major child health issue. This concern led Nemours to create a unique program called Nemours® BrightStart!, now known as Nemours® Reading BrightStart! (NRBS!), which specializes in developing products, resources and services to promote a strong reading foundation for all children, as a child health imperative

Toddlers

Our toddler program supports young scholars by focusing on developing gross and fine motor skills in a nurturing environment. With a low teacher-to-child ratio for personalized attention, we provide added support through two dedicated teachers. Using the Frog Street curriculum, our program follows a structured schedule to promote learning and growth

Toddlers

Allows toddlers to build confidence with a special emphasis on social-emotional development, learning impulse control, and developing social skills. Caregivers build trusting relationships with children through one-on-one, partner, and small-group interactions.

Two-year-old

Our two-year-old program bridges the transition from infancy to older toddlerhood. It focuses on shape and color recognition while fine-tuning motor skills. provides weekly homework assignments to encourage family engagement time at home. We provide individualized assessments to monitor progress and identify early interventions for developmental support, ensuring every child reaches their full potential

Pre - K

Our pre-kindergarten curriculum includes a research-based scope & sequence for literacy, math, and content domains. Acknowledging the individual needs of ALL learners, the pre-k curriculum includes strategies for differentiated instruction, and adaptations for special needs and English Language Learners, and more. Cultural responsiveness strategies are also included at point-of-use, with prompts and reminders to help teachers maintain an anti-bias mindset. A fully integrated digital assessment tool informs instruction, and professional development tips at point-of-use help to build teacher capacity.

Pre-K 3

Our Pre-K 3 program utilizes two curriculum programs: Nemours and Frog Street. Program specialists conduct quarterly assessments and provide weekly homework assignments to promote family engagement. The program focuses on enhancing language and communication skills, supporting cognitive development, and preparing children for academic success.” VPK: Ready, Set, Go! Our VPK scholars are fully prepared for kindergarten. Phonics, sight words, and STEAM activities are key components of the curriculum. Our VPK program specialist also incorporates Conscious Discipline to help children master emotional intelligence and self-regulation skills.
